I’ve been reading Craig Johnson books these past few days. This morning, in the midst of delving into the arctic Alaskan landscape adventures depicted in Tooth and Claw, I was called back to the late spring morning in Bristol, Vermont, by the trills of wood thrush, veery, red start, vireo, and cardinal. It’s an overcast morning and the birds are busy with breakfast and community conversations.
